The Passaic Valley Water Commissions Levine Resevoir Water Storage Improvement Project | Paterson, NJ Engineers

The Passaic Valley Water Commission’s Levine Reservoir Water Storage Improvement Project involved the installation of water storage tanks within the existing Levine Reservoir basin to replace the basin’s use as an open holding reservoir. As part of a full federally and NJ State- mandated cultural resources investigation, historic resources were surveyed at the reservoir site as well as at the Little Falls Water Treatment Plant where secondary electrical improvements were made. Potential adverse effects upon the resources from the proposed improvements project were also assessed followed by consultation with all interested parties on ways to mitigate and minimize any adverse effects.
