E2PM reviewed and amended Montclair State University’s (MSU) existing Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan. Since the most recent update to the SPCC Plan MSU has constructed a new Cogeneration Facility and is proposing to cease operation at the old Cogeneration Facility, which includes the removal and closure of the existing underground storage tanks (USTs). Pursuant to 40 CFR 112.5(a), MSU is required to amend their SPCC Plan whenever there is a change in facility design, construction, operation or maintenance, which materially affects the facility’s potential for discharge. E2PM will be amending MSU’s existing SPCC Plan in accordance with the requirements at 40 CFR 112 et al.
