Rural Telecommunication Facility | Stillwater, New Jersey Engineers

A major wireless telecommunication carrier selected a rural site within the highland region of Sussex County to build a 130 foot lattice tower with associated ground equipment. The selected site was the top of a wooded hillside with nearly a 400 ft elevation difference between the county road up to the telecommunication compound. An access road of over 3200 foot was designed to provide construction and operational access to the compound. The access road incorporated state of the art Low Impact Development and Stormwater and Soil Erosion Control strategies to minimize the impacts to the sensitive natural resources.
